A Natural Focus

I have always made a conscious effort to choose natural ingredients in the skincare products that I use, as much as I can.

Our skin is our body’s largest organ, and it is so important to nurture it, and be mindful of what we are putting on it.

Nothing will fully reverse the inevitability of the effects of time on the skin, but nature does already provide an abundance of provisions to help us nurture it.

My family and I use most of my Natural Nurture Skincare products on a daily basis, and have done so for many years. They contain no preservatives – just natural ingredients and are not heavily scented, and we love that about them, and the fact that they are just wonderful products.

Product Life

Despite the fact that these products do not contain added preservatives, they keep really well. I would recommend keeping them in a cool environment, and they should keep well for at least 6 months. My guess is that they will be well used long before then though!

Our Packaging

We have designed our packaging to be almost entirely recyclable, in an effort to minimise unnecessary landfill .

However, we do make our Lip Balm in a plastic twist tube rather than a jar, so that it avoids contaminants from fingers being dipped in to apply it.

For safety reasons we package our Bath Salts in a plastic pot. Bathroom floors get slippery when wet, so we don’t need a glass jar in there!

Our Bath Bombs are packaged in a cute little cardboard box, rather than trying to remove from a plastic shrink wrapper.

We support a local Adelaide business who make and supply the Gift Boxes for us.

We choose to use glass jars for our Facial Moisturiser and Hand Cream, rather than metal or plastic. Once the jar is empty, if you wish, just wash it really well and use it for something else.

Ros makes the paper strips from the offcuts from when she prepares her 3D Paper Sculpture Craft Kits and Greeting Card Class Kits. Rather than throwing the offcuts in the bin, she runs them through a paper shredder. They make a perfect, cosy little nest for our lovely Natural Nurture Skincare products.

We print our own labels onto paper sticker sheets and cut them out by hand. Once your product is used up and should you choose to re-use the container, the label can be soaked off in warm water.

And the pine cone comes fallen from one of the pine trees on the ridge of our property, which is how we get our Farm’s name – Piney Ridge Farm.
