Macrame Wall Hanging Class – come and join us, here in the beautiful Adelaide Hills!
Macrame has made a comeback! Most things do, given enough time, don’t they? You may have tried Macrame back in the day. Here’s your opportunity to re-acquaint yourself with it for a unique and rewarding Crafting Experience.
Or perhaps you are new to Macrame, love the look and feel of it, and would like to have a go at being a Fibreartist.
Come and spend a relaxing few hours in our Macrame Wall Hanging Class making this lovely Wall Hanging. You will come away with your own beautiful piece of wall art, ready to hang on your wall or give as a gift to someone special.
Our Macrame Wall Hanging has been designed by Roz specifically to teach beginners five of the main knots used in Macrame. You will become familiar with the Larks Head Knot, Square Knot, Spiral Knot, Diagonal Half Hitch, and the Gathering Knot.
“I’d noticed that most of the projects for beginners out there were extremely basic. I wanted to design a piece for beginners that involved a wide variety of the common knots used in macrame, but that also involved lots of repetition, so that they would know the knots inside and out by the end of the project. I also wanted them to gain a real sense of accomplishment and have a lovely decor piece at the end of the Class, to either give as a beautiful gift or to keep for themselves.”
All materials will be provided for you, with full instructions so that you can work at your own pace, or under Roz’s guidance if you need it.
Unlike the mass-produced macrame pieces you have no doubt seen in decor shops, your finished piece will have its own charm and uniqueness, having been lovingly worked with your own hands.
Our Macrame Wall Hanging Class size is limited to a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 people, to make sure you have all the support you will need from Roz to complete your project, should you need it. Bring a friend, or book in a small group, or contact us to discuss another option that might suit you for a private Workshop Experience.
The class runs for 2-3 hours and is priced at $110.00 per person. If no Class is showing as scheduled, or the time does not suit your timeframe, please Contact Me with 2 interested attendees, and I will make a booking with you direct.
