FOR ALL GUESTS
We are a working Primary Production Farm which means that from time to time there may be machinery noise and staff working on the property. This will be kept to only what is necessary during your visit.
As the Claremont CFS Airstrip is just over the hill to our north-east you may see and hear light aircraft taking off and landing closeby during your visit. The activity on the Airstrip is largely limited to the peak summer fire-fighting season and is completely out of our control.
As a working farm it is imperative that foreign contaminants are not inadvertently introduced onto our property from guest’s footwear or vehicles. Please adhere to our Biosecurity measures by keeping to marked paths and the carparking area to reduce the risk of contamination.
As farm equipment is often in use, please be observant when entering and exiting the property, and drive at walking pace only. Farming vehicles and implements can be dangerous, so please do not go near them or touch them.
For the safety and grazing measures of our stock, it is important that you leave gates on the property as you find them. If a gate is closed, make sure you close it behind you. If it is open, please leave it open.
AND FOR ACCOMMODATION GUESTS
The Barn is strictly a non-smoking venue, including the deck, ramp and stairs and surrounding areas. If evidence of smoking is found inside the Barn, guests will be charged $500 plus additional cleaning costs which will be charged to the guest’s credit card.
As the Barn is predominantly of timber construction, no candles or naked flames are permitted within the Building, nor on the Deck, stairway or ramp.
This is a rural property and sound travels long distances. In the best interests of the local grazing animals and our neighbours please be mindful of your noise level during your stay. We ask you to adhere to a noise curfew of 10pm-7am. The appeal of The Barn is its tranquility, so please join in the peace and quiet.
Although The Barn is very secluded and private, it is situated approximately 50 metres away from our home. We will respect your privacy during your stay, and we ask that you return that same courtesy.
To ensure that ALL guests have a peaceful and relaxing experience, we have a strict NO VISITOR policy. This means that no visitors of guests are allowed on the property.
The Barn is approved to accommodate a maximum of 2 adults only for the period stated. Strictly no children, parties or mass gatherings are allowed.
“The Barn” is located in a high fire danger area and extreme care must be taken when using the fire pit. The fire pit will be removed during the designated bushfire season (around Dec-April). Strictly no outside fires are permitted whatsoever during the bushfire season. No outside fires are to be lit at any other time, other than one contained within the provided fire pit. A limited amount of firewood has been provided for your enjoyment of the fire pit, but we ask you to use only what is needed. It is a valuable resource. No additional wood is to be collected from within the property.
For Biosecurity reasons, animals and pets are strictly not permitted on the premises. If we find that pets have been brought onto the property you will be required to remove it or leave without a refund.
If any of the above conditions are breached, we may immediately terminate your hire.
AND FOR CLASS EXPERIENCES GUESTS
Payment is required to book your place in a Class Experience. Payment can be made online via Credit Card or PayPal.
Due to the limited positions available, it is our policy not to refund fees if a participant cancels within 24 hours before the Class. As the enrolled participant, you acknowledge that these arrangements are reasonable with regard to the difficulties of filling cancelled bookings at such short notice and the significant administration costs of cancellations.
We do not offer a refund or re-booking if you fail to attend or cancel on the day of the Class.
In order to run a Class Experience, each class has a 3 participant minimum requirement. If this condition is not met, we will contact attendees and re-schedule.
If there is a Class cancellation, all booked participants will receive the option of either a refund or transfer to another session.
