Macrame Beginner’s Wall Hanging Craft Class

Macrame has made a comeback! Most things do, given enough time, don’t they? You may have tried Macrame back in the day. Here’s your opportunity to re-acquaint yourself with it for a unique and rewarding Crafting Experience.

Or perhaps you are new to Macrame, love the look and feel of it, and would like to have a go at being a Fibreartist.

Come and spend a relaxing few hours in our Beginner’s Macrame Class making this lovely Wall Hanging. You will come away with your own beautiful piece of wall art, ready to hang on your wall or give as a gift to someone special.

Our Beginner’s Macrame Wall Hanging has been designed especially by Roz. It will teach you five of the main knots used in Macrame. You will become familiar with the Larks Head Knot, Square Knot, Spiral Knot, Diagonal Half Hitch, and the Gathering Knot.

All materials will be provided for you, with full instructions so that you can work at your own pace, or under Roz’s guidance if you need it.

Unlike the mass-produced macrame pieces you have no doubt seen in decor shops, your finished piece will have its own charm and uniqueness, having been lovingly worked with your own hands.

Our Beginner’s Macrame Class size is limited to 6 people, to make sure you have all the support you will need from Roz to complete your project, should you need it. Bring a friend, or book in a small group, or contact us to discuss another option that might suit you for a private Workshop Experience.

The class is held in The Barn at Piney Ridge Farm. Morning/afternoon tea will be served at the conclusion of the Workshop, on the deck overlooking our beautiful pastureland. Relax and take pride in your finished project, and marvel at your creativity as a Fibreartist!
